Tips and Strategies

Do you think scoring 90/90 in PTE Academic is an impossible task? Well, with our help, it needn’t be!

Here are a few of our tips:

  1. Build your vocabulary skills: including knowing a number of words, what they mean, and how to use (and not use!) them. From comprehending everything you read/hear in the test, to crafting excellent essays, a great vocabulary will take you far! Reading and listening to good material are your best bet.

  2. Practice: every exam has patterns – of questions, topics and so on. The more you practice, the more familiar you become with these patterns, and the easier it is to ace the test! For this, we recommend practising with mock tests, under both relaxed and exam-conditions.

  3. Get a trainer: to help polish your language skills, aid you with your mock tests, help you identify your own mistakes, strengths and areas of improvement – basically everything that goes into prepping for PTE – a skilled trainer is an invaluable asset!

Additionally, for each of the 20 question-types you will encounter during the PTE test, we have put together a set of tips to help you ace it! Look out for our individual blog posts on PTE test components!
