Requirements for MSc in Hotel Management in Switzerland

In this article, we would be focusing on the provision of an MSc in Hotel Management in Switzerland. We would be listing out all the documents that need to be presented by international students. 

Required documents for the institution:

1. Students would require a Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality or any related field. 

2. Students who wish to pursue Hotel Management in Switzerland need to have prior work experience.

3. They require at least 2 to 3 years of experience in any hotel/company they work in or from an independently owned hotel/company.

4. To present the same, the students need their updated resumes. 

5. Students must also have a copy of the application form of the institution.

6. The students are also required to write a Letter of Motivation or a Statement of Purpose to the institution. 

7. Students need to present two Letters of Recommendations to the institution from the immediate or general manager of the hotel or company. 

8. Students need to have a minimum score of 6.5 in each module in IELTS.

9. A video interview needs to be submitted by the students that includes their general information. This video helps the institution assess your level of communication and level of expression. (Optional)

Apart from all these documents for admission, one needs a Student Visa- D type. The D-type Visa lets a student stay in Switzerland for more than three months. 

For a Student Visa, a student requires the following documents:

1. One must produce three copies of the visa application form.

2. Four passport size photos in Swiss size, i.e., 3.5*4.5 cms.

3. You should produce two copies of the passport size photos with your signature.

4. A student must present two copies of the acceptance letter from the institution. 

5. You must be able to produce two copies of proof of payment of the registration or tuition fees of the institution and availability of financial means.

6. You must have two copies of your past degree or diploma courses. 

7. You must also produce two copies of your updated CV, Resume, and LOM/SOP.

8. Remember to add your signature on all required documents.
