INTRODUCTION

1. Entry Requirements

The standard academic requirement for entry into a postgraduate programme is a Bachelors degree from a recognised university. Certain programmes may require a minimum score, or have additional requirements such as work experience.

English language requirements: UNSW accepts the following English tests for admission - 6.5 overall with no band less than 6 in IELTS (Academic), TOEFL (internet and paper-based), PTE Academic, UNSW University English Entry Course, Cambridge English C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, and the Australian National University College Access Program.

2. Costs And Funding 

The annual tuition fee for Masters programmes generally averages at 40-60000 AUD, with similar fees for graduate diploma programmes, and an average of 20-23000 AUD for graduate certificate courses. Additional costs include the Student Services and Amenities Fee and the Overseas Student Health Cover.

Scholarships: UNSW has a number of scholarships for international students, most of which are specific to certain subjects or programmes, including the Art and Design International Coursework Scholarship, Humanities and Languages Equity Scholarship, and the UNSW Business School International Scholarship.

3. Application Timeline

The application deadlines are 30 November 2019 for commencement in February 2020, and 31 July 2020 for commencement in September 2020
