JCU, located in North Queensland, Australia, is ranked among the top 250 universities of the world, offering a range of programmes including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, diplomas and certificates, and higher research degrees. JCU is well-established for its courses in environmental sciences, with its marine biology and biodiversity conservation ranked 1st and 2nd in the world. 1. Entry requirements

The standard academic requirement for entry into a postgraduate programme is a Bachelors degree from a recognised university. Certain programmes may have additional requirements such as work experience.

English language requirements: minimum scores in one of the following English language tests – IELTS Academic, TOEFL, or PTE Academic.

2. Costs and Funding

The annual tuition fee structure varies as per selected course – a sample would be 37600 AUD for a Masters or Graduate diploma in Science, including Environmental science, and 14-16000 AUD for a Graduate certificate course.

Scholarships: meritorious international students from Asia, enrolled in selected programmes, are automatically considered for the James Cook University International Student Merit Stipend, which includes monthly payments of 700 AUD
